Dr. Andrew Farkas, the director of the National Transportation Center and Urban Mobility & Equity Center, organized the first EV Day at Morgan State University.  Dr. Farkas worked with Bob Erdman from EVADC (Electric Vehicle Association of greater Washington DC) to get the electric vehicles for the event.

The event started at 9:30am to avoid the summer heat.  The event was attended by high school students who were enrolled in the Summer Transportation Institute being held at the university as well as by university students and faculty.  There were over 150 people who attended the event.

This EV invite was emailed to the staff to advertise the event.

EVADC brought a flyer that listed both the types of EVs as well as the experience of the EV’s owners.  We were lucky to be able to get the Hyattsville Police Bolt for the event!   Flyer with list of Vehicles and their owners experience.
