Montgomery County Greenfest and EV Showcase

We’re pleased to announce that the Montgomery County GreenFest has merged with the Brookside Gardens Earth Day Festival for 2019!  The two events combined together promises to make GreenFest one of the largest environmental festivals in the region with thousands of attendees and activities for all ages. 

  • Music stage with bands and performances
  • Children’s activities, kids tree climbing, drum circle, and face painting
  • Brookside Gardens plant sale
  • Electric vehicle and car show
  • 80 exhibitor spaces
  • Ample parking at the Glenmont Metro with multiple shuttle buses transporting attendee

REGISTER as an owner or volunteer at:Poolesville.Green/deed

  1. Owner/EVs (Arrive by 7:30am and depart after 4:15pm
  2. EV Volunteers (without static display of their vehicles) 2 Hr commitment requested between 11:00am – 4:00pm; Plan time for off-site parking & shuttle to event

REQUESTED: PHEV & BEV Owners for Vehicle Registration for Static Display (full day commitment) OR EV Owner Volunteers (2 hr commitment preferred) available to talk with the general public attending this large event.

Additional logistics and details will be provided to those registering or volunteering as the event nears.

4000 attendees are expected to attend and the EV showcase is in the center of the event.

This EV showcase is part of the National Drive Electric Earth Day (DEED) and is an extension of National Drive Electric Week and is organized locally by Poolesville Green.
